What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information from one page to the next or between visits. This policy also covers similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage and pixels, which are subject to the same rules.

Regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) requires your consent before storing or accessing information on your device, except where it is strictly necessary for the service you request or falls within one of the other exceptions in Schedule A1. We follow the ICO’s guidance on storage and access technologies and article 20 of Andorra’s Llei 20/2014.

How we use them

Only the necessary cookies are set without your consent: the one that remembers your cookie choice and the one that keeps your reading options. Analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you accept them. We do not rely on the statistical-purposes exception for our analytics, because our tools share data with their providers: Google Tag Manager, which we use to manage those tags, is not even loaded until then.

In the first notice you can accept all cookies, reject them all just as easily, or choose by category. Rejecting them does not stop you from using the website.

If you withdraw your consent, we delete the first-party cookies of that category and reload the page so that the tools stop working. Cookies that providers store on their own domains expire after the periods shown, and you can delete them in your browser.
